General arts and crafts classes such as jewelry making, basket weaving, paper mache, puppetry, nature crafts, calligraphy, quilting, etc. have been offered in the past. The possibilities are endless with the creative talents of our staff. Having the ability and desire to work and live in close proximity with campers of all ages in an outdoor setting is required. Job Description: Seeking enthusiastic, dynamic and creative counselors to teach/work with girls to develop and enhance their performance skills. Experience and expertise with musicals, theatrical performances, or set/tech design helpful.  Campers perform a variety of events throughout the summer including an end of summer musical production. This staff member will also have cabin/camper responsibilities. A wide range of class options is available to the right type of leader. Salary based on scale.

Job Description: Hochelaga's 30 acres include many types of general landsports. Past offerings include tennis, archery, volleyball, baseball, field hockey, basketball, soccer, and team or specialized games. We are seeking counselors to work with girls of all ages to develop skills and interests in general recreation programs or further enhance previously learned skills. Counselors also will have camper/cabin responsibilities. Interests, skills, and enthusiasm help to determine which programs are offered each session is a part of this position. Salary based on scale and experience.

Job Description: Ability to lead and teach activities in one or more specific program areas such as arts and crafts, drama, land sports, campcraft or outdoor living skills/environmental education, dancing, nature or on the waterfront. Some of these positions require certification and/or specialized training (archery, canoeing, swimming, sailing, lifeguarding, etc.) Specialists have the ability and desire to supervise campers in their living units when not teaching classes. Completion of 2 years of college or full time work is preferred. Salary based on scale, experience and certifications.
